Kumbasari Market, is a market selling the costume and clothing items with the prices are relatively cheaper than clothing items sold at the shops in Gajah Mada Street which are most owned by citizen of Chinese clan. Kumbasari Market is previously called by Peken Payuk (pot market). It sells the items from gerabah /jar like pot, pengedangan, cubek (plate from land), paso (pail from land), caratan (water jug from land), jeding (barrel from land), penyantokan (mixer from land), coblong (cup from land), kekeb (rice cover) and others. All of these items are the kitchenware and also the items for ceremony.  Kumbasari is more of an art market. It has an extension of the daily market at ground level and then tier upon tier of art shops that display a full range of crafts from antique woodcarvings to woven materials and paintings. Kuta Art Market, is located between Kuta Square / Jl.Kartika Plaza and the beach. Its quite a large area and has rows of stalls, selling the same stuff you’ll find all over Kuta. The idea ‘if it works for your neighbor, copy it’, has been fully blown out in this neighborhood and most people are twiddling their thumbs, due to the downturn in tourism. Wandering the art market today I did see some wooden clocks, that were in the shape of a giant wrist watch, quite clever. There were hanging Jesus’s, picture carvings with elephants, 4ft long carved lizards painted in Aboriginal motifs, Hawaiian shirts, baseball hats, surf shorts, Bintang t-shirts and mess-topped bamboo food dishes

Ubud Market is located accross Puri Saren Agung in the central part of Ubud.
