From Java Island to Bali Island

If you want to travel overland from Java island to Bali island, from the Surabaya city - East Java, you can take overland trip with a time of about 7 hours. Your journey will pass through several towns in eastern Java, such as, Sidoarjo, Pasuruan, Probolinggo, Lumajang, Jember, Banyuwangi. You can use a private vehicle, bus, or train
Banyuwangi is the port ferry city from east java to the island of Bali. The existing port in Banyuwangi city is called the port of Ketapang. You will find a queue of vehicles that will cross over to the island of Bali by ferry, especially at the holidays. Time required for crossing about one hour, and you will arrive at the port of Gilimanuk in the island of Bali.

From Gilimanuk, you can travel overland to the city of Denpasar with the time about 4 hours. During the trip you can enjoy the natural beauty of the island of Bali, like the sea, forest, hills, rice paddies, Balinese traditional craftsmen, etc.

Along the way, you can see many of the restaurants with the beauty panoramic views of the ocean, that serving delicious cuisine. On the way to the city of Denpasar, you will pass through several other towns in the island of Bali, such as Jembrana and Tabanan.

If you want, before the city of Denpasar, you can visit one of the famous tourist spots in Bali namely "Tanah Lot".  when you reached the town of Tabanan, about 25 km before the city of Denpasar. You can enjoy the beauty of the temple in the middle of the sea, is also traditional market with a variety of handicrafts typical of the island of Bali.
