Batur Lake - the beauty lake in Bali

Batur's lake is the largest lake of Bali. It lies down in the feet of mount Batur and Mount Abang. The surrounding of the lake is a favourite place for you to see the beautiful scenery and feel cool atmosphere. This place about 50 km from Denpasar town or about 2 hours by car. All roads are generally in good condition for you to access this place.

The lake is located at an altitude of 1.050m above sea level. The lake water is very natural because it comes from rain water and seepage of water from the forests in the mountains. The surface area of the lake is about 16 square kilometers with varying depths, with an average depth of 50.8 meters.

The Batur lake has stunning natural beauty. This lake is sorrounded by mountains covered with mature trees provide plenty of coolness. You can see the whole Batur lake through Panelokan village wich is located higher than the lake.

Denpasar - The Capital City of Bali
